The vision of Meaningful Journey is to create a fun and relaxed environment for a woman to explore who they are, what they want and how they want to express themselves in the world through their appearance and goals. My passion is helping women look and feel their best by offering them Lifestyle services which include complete hair, makeup and wardrobe styling.
Many women benefit from having a professional guide them through the “style jungle”. Where your hair cut, color and texture brings out your most beautiful facial features, and where your clothes are not only comfortable, but accentuate your positive body style. Women want to look their best, and through years of experience, my techniques work!
I have been a successful self-employed hairdresser for many years, who has had a large clientele and has done advanced training in NY and LA with the top educators in the cosmetology industry. I am also the former owner of a Salon and Day Spa in which I built, designed and managed for 10 years, with an excellent staff, each highly qualified in each of their specific fields. I designed and implemented a successful assistant training program as a means to mentor and grow new hairdressers and give them greater skill sets to build their own successful clientele’s and careers.
Along with my staff, we worked in the community doing makeovers for women living in the local Abused Women’s Shelter. The ladies would come by limousine to the salon/spa and have services including a new haircut, manicure and pedicure, massage, makeup and lunch. They would also leave with a bag full of beauty products to take home. While they were rejuvenating, their children were with day care providers so the whole family was taken care of and having a great time.
Since selling my salon and spa a few years ago I have continued doing hair for a small and exclusive clientele. I wanted to be able to work with women in a deeper way than I could behind the chair, so a few years ago I started working with a human potential program to learn to be a life and small business coach. The life coaching really grabbed me. Being able to work one on one with women to help them reach their life’s goals and dreams is a dream that I was able to fulfill.
Helping women to raise their self esteem and learn to love their bodies and themselves is my passion. I choose to do this by being your all around gal. What I mean by that is that with my skills in coaching, hairdressing, makeup, personal styling and closet organization, I can help you be your best and express yourself from the inside out!

At this time I serve the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington areas in person, but also do phone/web consultations. Travel to locations outside of the Portland/Vancouver area will be considered and there will be additional travel expenses.
