The first day I met Kat we did a body assessment, where I learned what shape I was.  This was very helpful because now I knew what style of clothes looks the best on me.  Now I can eliminate clothes that don’t fit me right.  Then we did simple color chart, so now I know I will only buy clothes that are the right color for me.  This makes for  very efficient use of shopping time!  Then we went through my closet and got rid of all the wrong styles that don’t flatter me and all the wrong colors.  This was very liberating!  Now I have much less to go through to find something to wear.

Next we went shopping where we blazed through the stores looking for only the right things.  Very fun!  At the end of the day, we brought the goodies home and then did a short session where we made different groupings of mix and match clothes, where you might have 8 pieces of clothing and can get 6 or 8 outfits, by mixing them.  Great for packing! I plan to have Kat back before I go on a long European trip this fall to help me pack with the additional clothes I’ve added to my wardrobe.

Working with Kat was a real eye-opener. After losing weight, my body shape had changed and without Kat I would never have known. She took detailed measurements and did a color analysis and now I have a handy personal profile that shows me examples of the styles of clothing that work best for my body type and my own personal color chart. No more guessing if it’s right for me or not – I know! I had a closet full of clothes but was feeling frumpy and uninspired. Kat helped me go through my closet and weed out the items that were out of style, poor colors for me and those pieces that just didn’t work with my body type or lifestyle. I have fewer items in my closet, but I feel like I have more options. What a relief! I’m on the road to looking the way I want and feeling good about how I look. Kat is helping me with my hair style and continues to make clothing, color and accessory suggestions. Working with Kat is fun! She is professional, has a great sense of style and years of experience.
